Comments

When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

Media

If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.

What Information Do We Collect?

When you visit our Website and subscribe any related service, or make an enquiry on our Website through one of the contact forms (including the mobile optimised version of the website accessible from your portable hand-held device) you may provide us with personal information such as:  Name, Job title, Company name and address, phone number, VAT number, Home address and phone number, Mobile telephone number, E-mail address, Educational history, work experience and other information from your CV if you provide this to us and Market research data such as readership patterns and Usage statistics.

You may provide us with Information in a number of ways:

– by supplying us with the Information as listed above, on an individual basis by using our services, making an enquiry regarding our services, registering for training courses and downloads of our materials.

Who we share your data with

How long we retain your data

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

We will only retain your Information for as long as is necessary for the purpose or purposes for which we have collected it.  The criteria that we use to determine retention periods will be determined by the nature of the data and the purposes for which it is kept.  For example, if we receive your Information when you apply for a job, we will retain your data for as long as is necessary to process your application, and maintain application statistics.  In certain circumstances, once we have deleted or anonymised your data, we may need to retain parts of it (for example, your email address), in order to comply with our obligations under GDPR or other legislation, or for fraud detection purposes.
